Windows Driver for the crazy Ralink/Mediatek 7610U Wireless USB 802.11n Adapter

Hello there, are you struggling to get your Wireless adapter working on Windows? Because I did. Wasted a good 5 hours – imagine that in this day and age of tech. It seems that Mediatek (driver maker) has published a driver for Linux but not Windows.

Then, I found something here EVEN THOUGH my chip was not listed on this page

But that driver worked for me. Hope it does for you.

WARNING: Their WLAN utility is functional but slightly tricky to use. Use your mouse after you select things in it. The Enter key does not work!
